We designed and built a fully custom puzzle game from scratch to support the album release of As the Pendulum Swings by Rezz.

Users enter a moody, atmospheric scene inspired directly by the album artwork. To unlock album information, they must solve a riddle by dragging and assembling puzzle pieces within the environment. Progress is gated through interaction - we reward curiosity and attention rather than passive scrolling.

The experience blurs the line between album artwork and gameplay, turning the release itself into something fans participate in. Rather than presenting content outright, the site invites exploration, discovery, and problem-solving which deepens emotional investment in the music before listening even begins.

This project demonstrates how interactive album experiences can extend an artist’s visual language while creating a sense of mystery and exclusivity around a release.
